In addition to roles as an author and a businesswoman, Victoria Principal was known as an American actress for her appearances as Pamela Barnes Ewing on the CBS nighttime soap opera Dallas (1978-1987), which earned her three nominations for Golden Globe Award for Best Actress, Soap Opera Digest Award for Outstanding Actress in a Leading Role on a Prime Time Serial and Soap Opera Digest Award for Favorite Super Couple: Prime Time. Her first steps in acting career began at the age of five when she made her first appearance in TV commercial. In 1968, she attended Miami-Dade Community College, majoring in medicine. However, after studying there for one year, she got seriously injured in a car crash and then changed major to acting, which she studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London.

Christopher Skinnerand ended their marriage in divorce after two years living together. In 1985, she wed Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr Harry Glassmanand divorced him in December 2006.
