Daughter of Queen Victoria who married the German Emperor Frederick III in 1858. She became German Empress and Queen of Prussia when her husband became the King of Prussia in 1888.
She wore one of the most elegant dresses in history, a robe of Honiton lace with intricate patterns and wreaths of flowers, for her wedding.
