Tyra Banks is an American television personality, former talk show host, producer, author, actress, and former model. She first rose to fame as a model when appearing twice on the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, becoming an Angels of Victoria's Secret and being honored as one of the world's top-earning models in the early 2000s. For her work on acting, she was famous for her starring role as Eve in Disney channel's Life-Size. In addition, she hosted the reality television show America's Next Top Model (2003) and talk show The Tyra Banks Show, from which she received two Daytime Emmy award for Outstanding Talk Show Informative. Time magazine ranked her as one of the world's most influential people.
At the age of 15, she began modeling while attending Immaculate Heart High School in Los Angeles and graduated from there in 1991.
During 1990s, she was in several relationship with musician Seal, film director John Singleton and actor Will Smith. From 2001 to 2004, she dated basketball player Chris Webber. Also, she was said to have a relationship with hockey player Mark Messier.
