Vietnamese singer-songwiter Nguyen Pham Thuy Trang is a versatile young talent. Several years ago, she was known as a Hanoian hot girl when she acted in a TV sitcom named Nhat Ky Vang Anh (Vang Anh’s Diary) and film Ba Noi Khong An Pizza (Grandma Doesn’t Eat Pizza) with the role of a rich, pretty but fussy girl. Her debut album Run Away was released in February 2012 on which she wrote every 14 songs. Trang Phap is the composer for several films such as Long Ruoi, Scandal, Co Le Boi Vi Yeu (Maybe It’s Love), Vo Toi La So Mot (My Wife Is Number One), Am Muu Giay Got Nhon (High Heels Plot) and Ba Dam Cuoi, Mot Doi Chong (Three Marriages, One Husband). Audiences are impressed by her skilled and emotional live voice. It’s a new way to present herself and her albums to the audience when she sang in three languages: Vietnamese, French and English.
Trang had been living in Paris for three years since she was 12. Her father is a lecturer and her mother is a diplomat. When she was a child, her mother let her learn organ and since then she started indulging herself in music. In 2010, she went to Ho Chi Minh city to set up her career.
Trang Phap is quite private about her personal life. Currently, she is just focusing on her music career.
