About
An American actress, comedian, writer and producer Tina Fey came to the attention of a mainstream audience after starring on comedy series Saturday Night Live (1998-2006) and 30 Rock (2006-2013. The outstanding woman with black plastic-rimmed glasses was named one of People magazine's 50 Most Beautiful People of 2003. Eight Emmy Awards and two Golden Globe Awards and five Screen Actors Guild Awards are said to be her most prestigious awards throughout her career.

Before fame
Tina was born in Pennsylvania, a daughter of Zenobia Xenakes, a brokerage employee and Donald Fey, a university grant-proposal writer. She developed her passion in comedy as a young girl. When she attended the University of Virginia to study playwriting and acting, she worked as a member of the choir, drama club, and tennis team, and co-editor of the school's newspaper, The Acorn. Tina Fey caught her first big break in 1997 when she became the show Saturday Night Live’s first female head writer.

Tina married a piano player, composer
Jeff Richmond in 2011. They now have two daughters Alice Zenobia Richmond (born in 2005) and Penelope Athena Richmond (born in 2011). -
