Tim McGraw was born in Delhi, Louisiana, to a waitress Elizabeth and a star pitcher Frank Edwin "Tug" McGraw Jr. During his college period, he started learning to play guitar, and used to perform and sing for tips. His talent was discovered through his demo single by Curb Records in 1990. He released several singles What Room Was the Holiday In, Welcome to the Club, etc. before receiving huge success from the best-selling country album Not a Moment Too Soon in 1994.
Tim McGraw entered into a happy marriage with fellow country singer Faith Hil in 1996. Faith Hil gave birth to three daughters: Gracie Katherine (b. 1997), Maggie Elizabeth (b. 1998) and Audrey Caroline (b. 2001).
