Clifford Joseph Harris, Jr. often called by his stage name T.I. rose to prominence as one of rap's most successful hip hop recording artist and actor from Atlanta, Georgia during the early 2000s who is best known as one of the artists popularizing the hip hop subgenre, trap music. Several of his highly successful singles include Bring Em Out, What You Know, Big Shit Poppin', Whatever You Like, Live Your Life, etc. Three Grammy Awards, namely Best Rap Solo Performance, Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group and Best Rap/Sung Collaboration are cited as his highest awards for his talent throughout his career.
Born as the son of Clifford "Buddy" Harris, Sr. and Violeta Morgan T.I. started rapping at the age of 8. His talent was discovered by Kawan "KP" Prather, a record executive and he signed T.I to his record label Ghet-O-Vision Entertainment. T.I’s his debut album I'm Serious was released in October 2001 through Arista Records.
T.I was married former Xscape member Tameka "Tiny" Cottle on July 30, 2010 in Miami Beach, Florida. The couple has 2 son and 1 daughter. He also has 2 sons by Lashon Dixon: Messiah Ya' Majesty Harris and 1 daughter from a relationship with American R&Bsinger Ms. Niko.
