Her notable roles in films are The System by Michael Winner, Return From The Ashes with Maximillian Schell. She might be best remembered for an iconic photograph taken on a roof-top in Marrakesh, Morocco in January 1969 by Patrick Lichfield.
Talitha Getty was born as a daughter of a painter Willem Jilts Pol and his wife Poppet John in Java. She graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London with the hope of becoming an actress. She also appeared in several films including Village of Daughters (1962), Village of Daughters (1962), etc.
