Supinya Klangnarong is wisely recognized as a Thai media rights activist, who has publiced illegal benefits of Shin Corporation - majority-owned by the family of Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra. Through her career, Supinya has served as secretary-general of the CPMR from 2003-2008, co-founder of Freedom Against Censorship Thailand ( 2006-2009 ) and current vice-chair of the Campaign for Popular Media Reform.
Supinya was born in 1976 in Surat Thani. She has shown her high determination to become a broadcaster by graduating from the Faculty of Communication Arts in Chulalongkorn University ( BA degree ), the Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication at Thammasat University, Communication Policy and Regulations from the University of Westminster ( MA degree ).
Supinya still remains her single life as she shared that she must first work for change in the Thai media.
