Kim Sung-min (born Kim Sung-taek) is a South Korean actor who made his acting debut in 1995. He came to prominence after starring in the hit TV drama Miss Mermaid in 2002. His stage name Kim Sung-min was adopted after the series was exported to other countries in order for his name to be easily pronounced.
He has won several awards for his work such as MBC Drama Awards, KBS Entertainment Award, 5th Asia Model Festival Award, etc.
Kim was married to dentist Lee Han-na in 2013. Lee is the head of a Gangnam dental clinic and has frequently appeared on television to give dental health advice.
