Han Suk-kyu is a South Korean actor, who has been one of the leading actors of Korean cinema. He who rose to stardom as "Hong-shik" in The Moon of Seoul (1994), is renowned for his distinctive voice and diction in many movies. Most recently, he won the Korean Popular Culture Awards for Presidential Commendation (2012) and the SBS Drama Awards: Grand Prize (Daesang), Top 10 Stars (2011)
Han Suk-kyu was a student at the Theater and Film department of Dongguk University, where he sang in an amateur folk rock band before taking a brief, year-long contract as voice actor at KBS, and moving on to TV and film acting with his debut in the 1990 MBC campus drama Our Paradise.
Han Suk-Kyuhas been married to Im Myeong-ju since 1998. They have four children.
