Often recognized as Vietnam's queen of hip hop, an outspoken artist Suboi is a Vietnamese rapper, singer and songwriter who came to fame as the first Vietnamese female rapper to make it big and go mainstream. Different from most rappers in Vietnam, she is able to rap in both English and Vietnamese. She won over audiences for albums Walk 2010 or Run 2014. Suboi's YouTube videos have tens of thousands of views and more than 200,000 fans on Facebook.
Suboi was born in a middle-class family in Ho Chi Minh City. At 14, she became an avid fan of hip hop music and started composing and performing as a rapper in a nu-metal band at 15. She once accompanied fellow rapper, Rapsoul, to Music Faces’ recording studio to record his track. Especially, she shot to prominence when staring in pop star Ho Ngoc Ha's chart topping singles "My Apology" and "Girls' Night" in 2009.
Suboi has a close friendship with hot girl Thuy Top in real life. Being a beautiful and famous singer, however she now still remains single.
