Widely known for aversion to fame, Sia Furler or simply Sia is an Australian singer, songwriter and musician who came to prominence for hits including Chandelier, Drink to Get Drunk and Elastic Heart tearing up the charts as well as her solo work. Her association with British Duo Zero 7 proved to be especially good, putting her career on a new track. She released lots of albums, many of which brought her extra attention and catapulted her to stardom. More notably, she is also a hitmaker for the likes of Rihanna and Beyoncé, with Diamond ranked No.1.
Sia was born on December 18,1975, in Adelaide, Australia, to Her father, Phil B. Colson, a musician in various bands including Foreday Riders, Rum Jungle and her mother Loene Furler, a singer, songwriter, musician, and art lecturer. With the foundation as her family, she soon had a great passion on music as a child. Before fame, she got her first big break in her career appearing with a band called Crisp as a singer or performed as a background vocalist for British band Jamiroquai, especially signed to the DancePool record label, a subsidiary of Sony, in 2000.
After romantic relationship with JD Samson, ended in 2011, she finally found her Mr. Right documentary filmmaker Erik Anders Lang. The two had a happy marriage on 2 August 2014.
