Shawn Michaels is an American professional wrestling personality, television presenter and retired professional wrestler. He is famous for being a four-time world champion: a three-time WWF Champion and a former World Heavyweight Champion. In addition, he earned the Pro Wrestling Illustrated "Match of the Year" reader vote a record eleven times, 1995 and 1996 Royal Rumbles and was considered as WWF's first Grand Slam Champion. For his huge influence, he was named the greatest professional wrestler of all time by IGN.
His first steps in athlete career began at the age of six when playing as a stand-out linebacker of the Randolph High School team. After that, he entered Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas before following professional wrestling.
After divorcing his first wife, Theresa Wood, in 1994, he got married to Rebecca Curci-Michaels on March 31, 1999 and had two children, a son Cameron Kade (born on January 15, 2000) and a daughter, Cheyenne (born on August 19, 2004).
