Prince William, who is second in the line of succession Queen Elizabeth II, (his grandmother), the elder son of Charles, Prince of Wales, and Diana, Princess of Wale. Despite being boisterous and at times rebellious as a child, Prince William of Wales has now matured into a strong and sensitive man, who is the pride, not only of his family, but also the nation.Prince William has been named Britain's Most Influential Man recently after having topped a 7000-reader survey of website AskMen to find whose achievements, profile and status had the biggest impact on UK life over the last year. Prince William is the second in line to the British throne after his father. After his parents' divorce in 1996 and his mother's tragic death in 1997, he was strongly affected and expressed discomfort at the increasing attentive public eyes as he reached adulthood. William attended independent schools for his free-of-paparazzi-intrusion education, being a serious student with excellent results while also excelling at sports. During university time, the Prince majored in art history and geography. William took interest in charitable and the natural environment area from a relatively early age. The Prince married Miss Catherine Middleton, his college sweetheart, on 29th April 2011. The couple are now known as The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and have had Prince Geogre in 2013 and Princess Charlotte in 2015.
