Nicol David, a Malaysian professional squash player, is well-known as the first Asian woman gaining number one among world's women squash players, which she has held for nine consecutive years since 2006. She has broken World Open record eight times, British Open record five times and won the Asian Squash Championship nine times. She was named as one of the greatest women's squash players of all time.
She attended Convent Green Lane Primary School and Convent Green Lane Secondary School during her childhood. With high scores in mathematics, she used to dream of becoming an engineer.
