Torrence Hatch whose stage name is Lil Boosie gained fame for his album Superbad: The Return of Boosie Bad Azz and Bad Azz (2009). An appearance on C-Loc's 2000 effort, It's A Gamble, became Boosie's debut. He is a talent rapper who won Best Breakthrough Artist Award (2007) and Club Banger of the Year (2008). He has been sentenced to eight years after finding guilty of drug charges. He was released from prison in 2014.
Lil Boosie was raised by his mother, Jacquelyn Hatch, since his father was murdered when he was a child. At high school, Boosie immersed himself in basketball which opened up a bright future for him in college, however, he got involved in drugs. He turned to rapping after being expelled from school and eventually hooked up with C-Loc. Later on, he released the full-length CD Yongest Of Da Camp (2000) on his own.
