South Korean pop singer, Musician and Record producer Lee Seung-Hwan is known for being the one whose 10 singles and albums ranked No.1 in the Korean music chart, selling more than 10 million records. In addition, he was considered as one of the singers who contributed a lot in developing Korea pop-culture. Throughout his career, he has earned so many awards and nominations, most noticeably, a Best Male Artist (1999) and a Music Video Pioneer Award (2002).
At the age of 25, Lee Seung-Hwan signed to Dream Factory, pursuing Pop, Adult contemporary and Rock genres. In 1989, he released his first album which brought him closer to the audiences. In 1991, he received the New Artist's Gold Disc and skyrocketed into stardom.
He married actress Chae Rim in 2003 but divorced after 3 years of marriage.
