Kevin Durant, considered as a top-scoring basketball player of the country, is a professional basketball player of the National Basketball Association’s Oklahoma City Thunder franchise. He started his success with the PG Jaguars, which won two national championships, showing his gift in playing basketball with his proud height and high accuracy. He was named an NBA All-Star three times and to the All-NBA First Team three times, as well as led the league three times as NBA scoring champion, all from 2010 to 2012. He had become the eighth player in NBA history to do so.
Kevin Durant was born to Wanda and Wayne Pratt and grew up loving sports. His grandmother Barbara was a strong influence on making him appreciate his height which she always took as a blessing. Durant played basketball for one season at the University of Texas where he won the Oscar Robertson and the Adolph F. Rupp awards and became the first freshmen to attain both honors.
