Kelly Rowland is an American singer, songwriter, actress and television personality. She became famous from the late 1990s as a member of Destiny's Child, one of the world's best-selling girl groups of all time. In 2002, starting the solo stage, she released the debut album Simply Deep with 2.5 million copies sold worldwide. Her name is more and more known widely through internationally popular hits like Stole, Commander, and Motivation.
In addition, Rowland tried in acting area with the role of guest in television sitcoms and the starring actor in Freddy vs. Jason (2003) and The Seat Filler (2004). The 18-year singing career, she earned several awards and nominations, including four Grammy Awards, a Billboard Music Award and a Soul Train Music Award. In 2014, Rowland was ranked the number 20 in the list 100 Most Award-Winning Artists.
In 1992, she joined a girl group named Girl's Tyme, which was debuted in Star Search, the biggest talent show on national TV at that time but lost the competition. After that, the group had some changes, especially in number of members before changing the name into Destiny's Child in 1996.
She got married to her manager, Tim Weatherspoon on May 9, 2014. The first child of the couple was born on November 4, 2014, named Titan Jewell Weatherspoon.
