Keanu Charles Reeves, popularly with short name Keanu Reeves, is a Canadian actor, producer, director and musician, who is appriciated as a top star in the Entertainment World. During the 20th century, he was a familiar face on national channel with his range appearance in films and comdies Bill and Ted franchise (1989–1991), action thrillers Point Break (1991) and Speed (1994), The Matrix (1999–2003), dramatic films Dangerous Liaisons (1988), My Own Private Idaho (1991), and Little Buddha (1993).
With that great contribution, he has won several awards including a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Along with his acting career, Keanu also worked as a musician for a decade, and as a gutarist in bands Dogstar and Becky. Moreover, he co-authored "Ode to Happiness", illustrated by Alexandra Grant, wrote Side by Side, and contributed to film Man of Tai Chi.
Reeves participated in acting at the age of nine, appearing in a theatre production of Damn Yankees. After six years, he was back with a character Mercutio in a stage production of Romeo and Juliet. Reeves made debut appearance on screen in an episode of Hangin' In.
Reeves has a daughter with his girlfriend, Jennifer Syme, who died in an accident in 2000- eight months after giving birth to their child.
