Kaley Christine Cuoco-Sweeting is an Italian-Germany actress from America, known for her roles as Bridget Hennessy on sitcom 8 Simple Rules (2002–2005), Billie Jenkins on Charmed (2005–2006), especially Penny on the comedy series The Big Bang Theory (2007–present) for which she won a Critics' Choice Television Award in 2013 and a People's Choice Award in 2014.
Her name was widely recognized in the 1990s with consistent appearances in the seriesEllen (1994), Northern Exposure (1990), Don't Forget Your Toothbrush (1995) and My So-Called Life(1994), Virtuosity (1995), Picture Perfect (1997), leading role in the miniseries Mr. Murder (1998). Cuoco has also appeared in films such as To Be Fat like Me (2007), Hop (2011) and Authors Anonymous (2014).
In October 2014, Cuoco was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Kaley debut as a model and commercial actress at the age of 6 and her first major role came to her in 1992 on the movie Quicksand: No Escape (1992) with Donald Sutherland and Tim Matheson.
