Johnny Depp is an American actor, producer, and musician. He rose to prominence on the 1980s television series 21 Jump Street. Later on, he received a great deal of praise for playing as Captain Jack Sparrow in The Pirates of the Caribbean film franchise. Besides, he also starred in the films Edward Scissorhands, Ed Wood, Donnie Brasco, Blow, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Chocolat, Benny & Joon, What's Eating Gilbert Grape, and Into the Woods.
Depp is the youngest of four children born to Betty Sue Palmer, a waitress, and John Christopher Depp, a civil engineer. In 1978, when he was 15, his parents got divorced. One year later, he dropped out of school to pursue his dream of becoming a rock musician.
His first marriage with Lori Anne Allison was from 1983 to 1985. He then dated actress Vanessa Paradis for fourteen years. Their relationship broke up in June 2012. Afterwards, he married actress Amber Heard in February 2015. They have two kids named Lily-Rose Melody and Jack John Christopher Depp.
