She has also appeared in a number of tragic roles, including Gu Manlu in Affair of Half a Lifetime (2002), Mu Nianci in The Legend of the Condor Heroes (2003), etc.
Jiang Qinqin landed on Earth on September 3, 1975 in Chongqing, China. Her first steps in entertainment started at the age of 10 when she started learning Beijing Opera and enrolled in the Beijing Film Academy in 1994. Afterward she joined Beijing Film Studio.
Jiang Qinqin got married actor Chen Jianbin on February 22, 2006, her costar in Qiao's Grand Courtyard. The two has their first son in 2007.
