Haruma Miura is a Japanese actor and singer. He was debuted as one of the members of Brash Brats, a J-pop group. However, he earned his fame when activating solo as an actor with his appearances in Gokusen 3 and the 2007 film Koizora and typically as a star in a drama based on the manga, Bloody Monday. For his contribution in arts, he received Japan Academy Award for Newcomer of the Year (2009).
He began acting from the age of seven when joining in NHK drama Agri. Then he attended Tsukuba Actor's Studio where founded Brash Brats group with two other students. On February 19, 2009, he graduated from Horikoshi High School in Nakano, Tokyo.
His close friend is Sato Takeru who did together a documentary show which was released 2010 as a DVD.
