Gordon James Ramsay is a Scottish chef and restaurateur, whose restaurants have been awarded 16 Michelin stars in total and currently hold 14 ones. Additionally, his signature restaurant Restaurant Gordon Ramsay in Chelsea, London, has held 3 Michelin stars since 2001.
Besides working in his restaurants, Ramsay appears in TV programmes about competitive cookery and food, such as the British series Hell's Kitchen, The F Word, and Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares, along with the American versions of Hell's Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmares, MasterChef, MasterChef Junior and Hotel Hell.

Before fame
At first, he had pursued football carreer since 12 years old but dropped out because of injury.
At age 19, he decided to witched to cooking, which is stated his second interest in life, and enrolled at North Oxfordshire Technical College, sponsored by the Rotarians, to study Hotel Management.
In the early 1980s, he worked as a commis chef at the Wroxton House Hotel then at the Wickham Arms, until his sexual relationship with the owner's wife was exposed. Ramsay then moved to London, where he worked in a series of restaurants until being joining Marco Pierre White at Harvey's.

Personal life
Ramsay married Cayetana
Elizabeth Hutcheson , a Montessori-trained school teacher, in 1996. The couple have four children, Megan, Matilda, and twins Jack and Holly. They live in Wandsworth Common. -
