Moon Geun-young is a South Korean actress who first came into stardom with the role as young Eun-suh in the greatly popular TV drama series Autumn in My Heart (2000). She received wide acclaim with My Little Bride (2004) and Innocent Steps (2005). Moon was regarded as "the nation's little sister" and in 2008, she became the youngest recipient of the Daesang award (Grand Prize) which she won for the period drama Painter of the Wind in SBS Drama Awards.
Moon began modeling at the age of 10, then made her acting debut in 1999 as a child actress. In March 2006, she entered Sungkyunkwan University in Seoul.
