Galyani Vadhana (or Kanlayaniwatthana) was a princess of Thailand and the elder sister of King Ananda Mahidol (Rama VIII) and King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX). She was a direct granddaughter of King Chulalongkorn (Rama V).
Galyani Vadhana graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry in 1948 from University of Lausanne.
In 1944, Princess Galyani Vadhana married Colonel Aram Rattanakul Serireongrit and they had one daughter, Thanpuying Dhasanawalaya Ratanakul Serireongrit in 1945. In 1969, the Princess married Prince Varananda Dhavaj and they had no children.
