Eikō Harada is a Japanese business executive, better known as the representative director and president of McDonald's Holdings Company (Japan), Ltd. as well as president and chief executive officer of McDonald's Company (Japan), Ltd since 2005. At the same year, his own book, Tokoton Yareba, Kanarazu Dekiru, was also published by Kanki Publishing.
After graduating from the Nagasaki Prefectural Sasebo South High School, he attended Tokai University. He began his career at NCR Japan, Ltd. in 1972. He joined Yokogawa Hewlett-Packard in 1980 before working as a director and head of the marketing department for Schlumberger Group in 1983. In 1990, he joined Apple Computer Japan, where he was appointed to occupy the vice president in 1996.
In 2002, he got married to J-pop singer-songwriter Yumi Tanimura.
