Dato’ Sheila Majid, born Shaheila binti Abdul Majid, is a Malaysian pop singer. She also made her appearances in Malaysian television commercial and became the brand ambassador for Reckitt Benckiser's Strepsils since 2013. The Queen of Jazz in Malaysia won Indonesia's BASF award for Best Female R&B Artist in 1987 and America's International Star Search Award for Best Female Vocalist in the next two years. Most recently, she gained Anugerah Khas Planet Muzik (Notable Award) at the 11th-Anugerah Planet Muzik at the Max Pavilion, Singapore for her 27-year music career.
She enrolled in Convent Goodshepherd Kindergarten, Methodist Girls Primary School and Methodist Girls Secondary School in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Her debut album Dimensi Baru was made in 1985.
She got married to Roslan Aziz, the producer of her previous albums, but ended their marriage in divorce.
