Daniel Craig is an English actor, who actually earned his fame through his supporting roles in Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001) and Road to Perdition (2002). His film debut The Power of One was made in 1992. After that, he appeared frequently on television, notably the BBC2 serial Our Friends in the North (1996). Typically, he was named as the sixth actor to portray role of Ian Fleming's James Bond 007 in October, 2005. In addition, he was nominated a BAFTA award for his appearance in Casino Royale becoming the highest-grossing in the series at the time.
As a six-year-old child, he first stepped in acting in school plays in the Everyman Theatre in nearby Liverpool city centre. At age 16, he dropped out of Calday Grange Grammar School to attend National Youth Theatre in London, where he also did a part-time job in restaurants to finance his training there. After that, he attended the Guildhall School of Music and Drama at the Barbican for three years before graduating in 1991.
