Chris Paul is an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Clippers of the National Basketball Association (NBA) at which he was famous for the point guard position. He has earned the NBA Rookie of the Year Award and an Olympic gold medal and led the NBA in assists four times and steals six times. Off the court, he is also known as the National Basketball Players Association president since August 2013.
Paul was a McDonald's All-American in West Forsyth high school in Clemmons, North Carolina. After that, he entered Wake Forest University for two years of college basketball where he supported the Demon Deacons to reach their first ever number one ranking.
On September 10, 2011, Paul married his college sweetheart Jada Crawley. The couple had two children, Christopher Emmanuel Paul II (born May 23, 2009) and Camryn Alexis Paul (born August 16, 2012).
