Rising to fame as a Canadian actor and television host, Cameron Mathison is perhaps most famous for his role as Ryan Lavery on All My Children- a role he played from December 15, 1997 to 2002, from 2003 to 2011. In 2000, he was named as one of American's 100 most eligible bachelors by People magazine. Curently, he is hosting the renovation reality show Game of Homes. Mathison also acts in both comedic and dramatic roles as appearances on Castle, Desperate Housewives, Hot in Cleveland, Drop Dead Diva, the EXes, and numerous independent and TV movies.
Mathison was born in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada. He was diagnosed with Perthes disease, and spent nearly four years with braces on his legs at an early age. He attended McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering in 1993. Afterthat, he began his career as a model and actor in commercials in Canada, the United State and Europe.
Cameron was married to Vanessa Mathison and currenly lives together in Los Angeles, Canifornia. The couple has two children, Lucas Arthur Mathison, and Leila Emmanuelle Mathison.
