Peter Gene Hernandez, better known by his stage name Bruno Mars, is an American singer, songwriter, record producer, voice actor, and choreographer. Throughout singing career, he has sold over 12 million albums and 68 million singles, making him one of the world's best-selling artists of all time. He received two Grammy Awards and was entitled one of 100 most influential people in the world by Time Magazine in 2011. His name was associated with the great success of singles Just the Way You Are, Grenade, and The Lazy Song.
Mars had an unsuccessful stint with Motown Records, but then signed with Atlantic in 2009. He became worldwide recognized as a solo artist after his debut studio album Doo-Wops & Hooligans (2010) was anchored by the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart-topping singles.
