Francisco Gaudencio Lupe Belardo Mañalac, commonly known as Bamboo Mañalac or Bamboo, is a Filipino musician and singer. He used to be the former vocalist of Filipino rock bands, Rivermaya and Bamboo, and is currently performing as a solo artist.
Between 1993 and 1998, Mañalac with the band Rivermaya launched several successful albums, received numerous awards, and took many concerts and tours to Canada and the USA. In 2002, he decided to stay in the USA and formed a new band called Bamboo with other 3 members Nathan Azarcon, Ira Cruz and Vic Mercado. In 2011, the Bamboo was disbanded, and just one year later, Mañalac released his debut solo album, No Water, No Moon, under the label of PolyEast Records.
Mañalac is the brother of GMA reporter, Lia Mañalac-Del Castillo. He has been in marriage with Cecil Mañalac. They have 2 kids, Isabelle and Lucius Mañalac.
