Asa Butterfield is widely regarded as one of the young famous British actor playing for many films. He has been nominated in a lot of categories and has moved from child star to teen star. After Asa playing the lead role in The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas , the 13-year-old British actor’s name played in Hugo and then began cropping up on lists of breakout performers and child stars to watch.
At the age of 7, Butterfield first played after school at the Young Actors' Theatre, in his hometown. Later, he participated in the 2006 television drama After Thomas and the 2007 film Son of Rambow with minor roles. In 2008 he acted as Donny in Ashes to Ashes with guest role before playing the lead role in The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas when he was at 10.
Butterfield's performance was supposed to be outstanding in the hundreds of other boys when the famous director Mark Herman casted him in the audition process.
