Amanda Seyfried is an American actress and singer. Between 2006 and 2011, she emerged as a star on the HBO drama series Big Love and appeared in the 2008 musical feature film Mamma Mia. She is also famous for her leading roles in Mean Girls, Letter to Juliet and Jennifer's Body.
Her mother, Ann, is an occupational therapist while her father, Jack Seyfried, is a pharmacist. She has an elder sister named Jennifer Seyfried, who is a musician in rock band, Love City. Seyfried began her career as a model when she was 11, then at 15 began an acting career, starting off with a minor role in the soap operas As the World Turns and All My Children.
Before dating Justin Long in 2014, she was previously the girlfriend of James Franco.
