Adam Sandler is an American actor who is best known for his comedic style in films. He gained attention after appearing on Saturday Night Live in 1991, and started his acting career in 1993. Sandler is also a screenwriter, film producer, entrepreneur and musician. His other notable films include: Billy Madison (1995), Happy Gilmore (1996), The Wedding Singer (1998), Punch-Drunk Love (2002), Bedtime Stories (2008),...Sandler owns Happy Madison Productions, a TV and film production company which was founded in 1999 by Sandler himself.
Sandler's family is Jewish. He graduated from New York University in 1988. In 1990, he started off as a writer for Saturday Night Live after being discovered by comedian Dennis Miller. A year later, he switched to being a performer on the show.
In 2003, Sandler married actress Jaqueline Samantha Titone. They have two daughters and now reside in Los Angeles.
